Steel claws are a two handed melee weapon that are member's only. To wield them the player must have at least level 5 Attack.
Steel claws can be obtained either by using the Smithing skill to make a pair, trading with another player, completing the Death Plateau quest, purchasing them from Martin Thwait in the Rogue's Den for 175 coins, or as a monster drop. The requirements for making them are completing the Death Plateau quest and 43 Smithing. To make them use a steel bar (with another in the inventory) on an anvil with a hammer in the inventory. This will grant the player 75 Smithing experience.
