The Steel two-handed sword is a two-handed sword stronger than the iron 2h sword. Like all Steel weapons, it requires 5 attack to wield. It can only be used in combat. Players can make a steel two-handed sword with the smithing skill at level 44 using three steel bars, giving the player 112.5 smithing experience. Members can purchase this two-handed sword from Gaius's Two Handed Shop in Taverley.

- Vannaka, the Combat Instructor and Slayer Master, wields a steel 2h while holding a dragon square shield at the same time.
- Players often use this sword to trick others into thinking they have a Saradomin Sword, since the hilt is the shape of the saradomin symbol.
