The stake is an item used in the Vampire Slayer quest. This item is obtained by talking to Dr. Halow at the Blue Moon Inn at Varrock. The player must use the stake, along with a Hammer to kill Count Draynor. In Runescape Classic, it was possible to wield this item as a weapon, and both its stats and appearance resembled that of a bronze longsword.
