The Spiked helmet is an item obtained from level 1 Treasure trails. This item requires 5 defence to wear and can be used as a substitute for a spiny helmet used for slayer. This helmet is considered more stylish than the spiny helmet and provides the same additional bonuses, although it is much more expensive.
It is recommended that players with level 35 slayer and 55 crafting use the Slayer helmet for slayer, as it has better bonuses and more uses.
Ironically, this is not the only helmet to have it's bonuses. The steel full helm, and Tyras helm both share the exact same bonuses, minuses the protection against wall beasts.
