Speedy Sam The Striker is a famous Gnome Baller and, according to the Gnome Coach in the Tree Gnome Stronghold, is incredibly wealthy because of his profession. Sam does not appear in-game, but is mentioned by the coach when discussing the history of the game.
Sam is very famous amongst the gnomes, rivalling players such as Norda 'Steal Arms' van Druman and Great Thunder Legs MacKnee.
