Soft clay is used to create pottery through the Crafting skill, in addition to certain furniture and Magic tablets in Construction.
Soft clay can be created by using water on clay. To create pottery, soft clay must be used on a potter's wheel and then fired in a pottery oven.
While wearing a Bracelet of clay, soft clay can be mined straight from clay rocks.
The price of soft clay spiked when Construction was released, due to the many uses of it in the skill.
