Snotgut is a goblin in charge of The Pit distraction and diversion, along with Scrambles the werewolf. Being a goblin, he is not very bright and, when trying to make jokes, which he often does, usually fails, to the great irritation of his partner. However, he claims himself to be smart, supporting that with the argument that he reads, although Scrambles comments that "reading is not the same as eating". Nevertheless, he can often be found looking at papers, supposedly reading them.

Notable is that Snotgut is the first goblin to have received a graphical update, his looks (and especially the chathead) differing greatly from other goblins' graphics.

The inspiration for Snotgut came from Generals Bentnoze and Wartface arguing and shouting at Grubfoot.
