Snakeskin is used in the Crafting skill to make snakeskin armour. It can be created by giving a snake hide and 15 coins, or (Swamp) Snake hide and 20 coins to a tanner. A tanner can be found in Al-Kharid, Canifis, the Ranging Guild, and the Crafting Guild. Snakeskins are also used to make tribal masks into Broodoo shields. A member can make snakeskins into items of snakeskin armour, as shown on the table below, if they have a needle and thread.
Snake hides are dropped by bush snakes on Karamja during the Tai Bwo Wannai minigame. A snake with combat level 35 can be found on Mos Le'Harmless This is very good for money if you go to the Trouble Brewing deposit bank and kill snakes there, since there are no jungle horrors there, it is safe.
(Swamp) Snake hide are dropped from the Swamp snakes during Temple Trekking/Burgh de Rott Ramble minigame. Just simply use a knife on Snake corpse to get 3 to 5 hides.
