A Small fishing net is an object used to several types of fish such as Shrimp, Anchovies, Karambwanji and Monkfish. This net can be bought at the fishing store in Catherby for 40 coins as well as in some general stores. It is 40 coins from Arnold Lydspor's store in Piscatoris Fishing Colony and the fishing store in Port Sarim. You can make one on a loom with seaweed.
Players can receive these from the Evil Bob island random event.

The small fishing net can also be used in Hunting to capture swamp lizards, salamanders, and squirrels along with a rope.

- Players used to be able to receive small fishing nets from the Fishing tutor.
- When having multiple nets in your bank, sometimes the net has a different image.
- the Fishing Tutor used to give these away if one asked him without a net in his bank/inventory, but he was later removed from the game.
