Slayer's staff detail

The slayer's staff is sold by Slayer Masters. It can also be obtained by pickpocketing H.A.M members after completing the Buyers and Cellars quest and the further completion of the two capers, From Tiny Acorns and Lost Her Marbles. It requires a Magic level of 50 and a Slayer level of 55 to wield and is required to cast the Slayer Dart spell.

Many people use it as it is one of the requirements to cast Slayer Dart. This makes it useful for doing the Barrows activity and killing Dagannoth Kings.

Its popularity declined since the release of the staff of light, as the staff of light has an accuracy rating over three times higher, can also be used to cast Magic Dart, and even has a chance of not using any runes when casting combat spells. Of course, the fairly high price of the staff of light still makes the slayer's staff an attractive option for players looking to save money on gear, or those who don't yet have 75 Magic and Attack.

TriviaEdit

  • A slayer's staff can be obtained by pickpocketing a H.A.M. member after the completion of the Buyers and Cellars quest and the further completion of the two mini-quests "From Tiny Acorns" and "Lost Her Marbles". This is, however, fairly rare, but for a player with good Thieving and Agility levels (for double pickpocketing, etc) can be a viable means of money making.
  • During the Draynor Bank Robbery tape, 1337sp34kr, a player spoof, appears to be wielding a slayer's staff.
