This slayer guide will help players train Slayer from levels 1 to 99.

These quests give access to new Slayer monsters. (These slayer monsters will only be assigned after the completion of requirements.) Note that Waterfiends can only be assigned if you have spoken to Otto.

  • Black Mask or Slayer helmet - both give a 15% increase to strength and attack when slaying the assigned monsters; a slayer helmet also includes all other slayer headgear and has the same melee defence bonus of Rune full helmet.
  • Prayer-boosting armour, such as Proselyte armour. (The body and leg part only, with the combination of the Slayer helmet .)
  • Salve amulet or Salve amulet (e) - provides a 15% boost to attack and strength against undead; the enchanted version provides a 20% boost instead. Neither stacks with the Black Mask effect - the larger boost takes affect only.
  • Amulet of Fury - gives good bonus for both attack and defence for every style and prayer.
  • Skillcapes or Fire Cape - the former gives the best prayer bonus for capes and good defence bonus, the latter gives attack bonus and even better defence bonus for capes.
  • Rune defender - gives good melee attack bonus, some defence bonus and little strength bonus, which can speed up your task significantly, it is recommended to use this instead of Dragonfire shield for non-dragon-related tasks.
  • Dragonfire shield - gives great defence bonus and good strength bonus. Recommended to use for dragon tasks.
  • Barrow gloves - gives good attack and defence bonus, also a massive +12 strength bonus.
  • Dragon slayer gloves - gives a 10% increase to attack when slaying the assigned dragon task, the effect stacks with Black Mask or Slayer helmet.
  • Dragon boots - gives good defence bonus and little strength bonus.
  • Berserker ring or Berserker ring (i) - the former gives +4 to strength bonus while the latter gives +8 to strength bonus.
  • Any Barrows armour top and bottom - give good melee and range defence bonus. Guthan's set is also useful as it eliminates some of the need for food during tasks.
  • Bandos Chestplate and Bandos Tassets - give good melee and good range defence bonus and also give little strength and prayer bonus, also it doesn't degrade like barrows.

This armour is useful for Slayer monsters that use magic-based attacks, such as Pyrefiends or Aberrant spectres.

[edit] Weapons

The following weapons are suggested to use against other tasks, however it is personal preference which you prefer to use, depending on the individual task you have. Some weapons have disadvantages when fighting different tasks, including some two-handed so they are not useful for dragon slaying/shield wielding tasks. However, if a player is a high-levelled herbalist, they can create potions that will allow you to use two-handed weapons for fighting dragons. Other weapons are somewhat difficult to obtain because of expenses or requiring an entire Achievement Diary to obtain. For fighting Turoths and Kurasks, special weapons are required, as mentioned in the below table.

Slayer tasks have different versions of monsters to kill. The table below shows the different monsters offered by the different slayer masters, the charms they drop most frequently, and a good strategy to beat them efficiently, including good locations to fight them.

Aberrant Specters Vannaka, Chaeldar, Sumona, and Duradel/Lapalok Gold/Blue Wear a slayer helmet, and fight down in the Desert Slayer Dungeon. Move your POH into the desert, and use home teletabs or the runes to teleport back when food runs out. A nosepeg OR slayer helmet must be worn. Magic based attack. No safespots. They are undead. Also located in Desert Slayer Dungeon, which is multi-combat, but are not aggressive (this location requires the slayer helmet). Can use Dwarven Cannon.
Abyssal Demons Duradel/Lapalok and Sumona (infrequent) Crimson/Gold In the Alternate Abyss (Fairy Ring Code ALR) just to the Northwest are three Abyssal Demon Spawns available. This location is a lot less crowded than the tower, so you can get faster kills here. They are a bit spread apart, so you must lure the Demon you are killing closer to the next spawn to get the full amount of xp. It is fastest to melee them. The top floor of the Slayer Tower is home to a room with many Abyssal Demon spawns, although it is crowded. Melee is recommended.
Aquanite Sumona/Duradel/Lapalok Blue? The good way is to use melee and combine with a Bunyip. They are located at the end of the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon.
Ankou Vannaka Gold Found in the last level of the Stronghold of Security, or the wilderness volcano. There are safespots in the stronghold of security. Use the games necklace for a fast teleport. Use the Salve amulet(e) instead of the Black Mask, as it gives a larger bonus.
Banshees Turael/Spria, Mazchna, Vannaka, Chaeldar, Sumona Green Found in the Slayer Tower or Desert Slayer Dungeon. Requires Earmuffs, Masked Earmuffs or Slayer Helmet to be worn. Uses Magic-based melee attack. Ranging them is an option as they are somewhat spread out. Can use Dwarven Cannon in Desert Slayer Dungeon only.
Basilisks Vannaka, Chaeldar, Sumona  Green Found in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon or Desert Slayer Dungeon. Requires Mirror Shield. If ranging, there is a safespot near the agility shortcut you can use.
Bats Turael/Spria, Mazchna Gold The Basement of the Legends' Guild is a place where quite a few are in the same area. Giant bats in the Heroes' Guild basement are usually a slower option, but will give more xp. Also, the dungeon south of Taverley has several giant bats.
Bears Turael/Spria, Mazchna Gold East of East Ardougne near the coal mines, quite a few close together.
Birds Turael/Spria Unknown Chickens in Lumbridge or Undead chickens near Ectofuntus. Kill terrorbirds for more XP at the Gnome battlefield or in the Gnome stronghold.
Black Demons Sumona, Duradel/Lapalok Crimson Use Taverley Dungeon. Set up your cannon in the western end of the cave, using a safe spot so that your cannon attacks all of the Black Demons at once. Taverley Dungeon or Chaos tunnels. Taverley Dungeon has safe spots. Chaos tunnels has a good safe spot and a combat familiar can be used. An update to Black Demons has made Black Demons have the same charm drop rate in both locations. Without using a cannon this task can take a long time, so consider switching this task.
Black Dragons Duradel/Lapalok Green Some possible methods include killing baby Black Dragons in the Chaos Tunnels with the aid of a Titan familiar, or using a cannon and meleeing them in the Chicken Shrine. A slow but rewarding alternative is also to solo the King Black Dragon, also with melee. You can use safe spots located in Taverley dungeon or at the Chicken shrine to range black dragons without taking any damage (as long as you also have an anti-dragonfire shield equipped).
Bloodvelds Vannaka, Chaeldar, Sumona, Duradel/Lapalok Green The Meiyerditch dungeon is home to Mutated Bloodvelds that can be cannoned. Melee and protect Melee prayer with a cannon can yield very fast experience. The Slayer Tower has several spawns of low-levelled bloodvelds that use magical-melee based attacks. Dragonhide armour is useful for killing them with both melee and range. Safe spots exist for range, although melee is faster. A halberd is another option.
Blue Dragons Chaeldar, Sumona Green Location: Taverley Dungeon they are usually very crowded. DO NOT Use the Heroes' Guild almost always over crowded! Best spot: Ogre Enclave. All three areas have safe-spots. Melee is very effective.
Brine Rats Vannaka, Chaeldar Gold Melee is advised. cannon can be used, but might be overkill. Bring a few logs and a tinderbox to cook meat and raw fish drops. Bunyips can be used on with the fish.
Bronze Dragons Chaeldar Unknown Recommended combat style: Melee or Range. Location: Best Chaos Tunnel and Brimhaven Dungeon. Required items: anti-fire potions and anti-dragon shield/dragonfire shield.
Catablepon Mazchna Gold Change this task. They are hard and quite pointless to kill because of their strength reducing spell, which they use commonly. One might consider doing them for points though, or for constructing the Skull sceptre.
Cave Bugs Turael/Spria Gold Found underneath Lumbridge Swamps.Bring a covered light source.Use preferred method. Also found in greater numbers in the Chaos Tunnels.
Cave Crawlers Mazchna, Chaeldar, Sumona Gold Location: Fremennik Slayer Dungeon and Desert Slayer Dungeon. They poison so prepare. The ones in The Desert Slayer Dungeon are considerably higher level.
Cave Horrors Chaeldar, Sumona Crimson Use Magic-based melee attack. If you meleeing them Witchwood Icon is required, also recommended for all methods. There are safespots.
Cave Slimes Turael/Spria, Mazchna No Location: under Lumbridge Swamp. They are poisonous. Range is advised, since they are spread out.
Cockatrice Mazchna, Vannaka Green Found in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon. Wear a Mirror Shield.
Cows Turael/Spria Green Location: Lumbridge pasture or near the Crafting Guild.
Crawling Hands Turael/Spria, Mazchna Gold Location: Morytania Slayer Tower, ground floor. Range is advised, for Slayer Tower. Skeletal and Zombie Hands are recommended for higher level player.
Dagannoths Chaeldar, Sumona, Duradel/Lapalok Gold Place a cannon in the centre of the Lighthouse dungeon. The cannon will do most of the work. Melee the dagganoths under the Lighthouse. It is crowded but other locations have much stronger dagganoths.
Dark Beasts Duradel/Lapalok Blue Requires Mourning's Ends Part II. Place a cannon at the south-west end of the first Dark Beast cave, pray melee. Piety is very useful. Be warned, if your cannon attacks a Dark Beast from afar, you should run to melee it as it will mage you.Beasts of burden are helpful for completing the task in one trip. Requires Mourning's Ends Part II. Simply increase your prayer bonus and melee them with protect melee somewhere in the cave. Beasts of burden are helpful for longer trips. Without a cannon, these could be considered worth skipping.
Desert Lizards Turael/Spria, Mazchna No Found just south of Uzer.Ice cooler is required to finish them off. Bring water supply, as you'll be in the middle of the desert.
Dogs Turael/Spria, Mazchna Green Use preferred method. Kill Guard dogs near the mansion in Ardougne, or Wild dogs in Brimhaven Dungeon.
Dust Devils Vannaka, Chaeldar, Sumona, Duradel/Lapalok Crimson Requires a Facemask or slayer helmet. Melee them in the Chaos Tunnels and engage several of them in combat at a time. Requires: Facemask or slayer helmet. Best method is to melee in the chaos tunnels, next is to range or halberd them from safespots in the dusty well, however you must at least partially complete Desert Treasure for this location. Bones to Peaches can help low level slayers. Also found in the Chaos Tunnels, but a facemask or Slayer Helmet is still required.
Dwarves Turael/Spria Gold Attack using your preferred method. Found under Ice Mountain and White Wolf Mountain
Elves Vannaka, Chaeldar, Sumona Green Can only be done if you've completed (or started depending on your progress through the quest) Regicide. The best place is Lord Iorwerth Elf Base. There are many elves there, as well as a shark fishing spot and an eternal fire in the camp if you run low on food.
Fever Spiders Chaeldar No Can only be done if you have completed Rum Deal. You must wear Slayer Gloves or you will get diseased. They can be ranged or you can use melee. They only drop Kwuarm.
Fire Giants Chaeldar, Sumona, Duradel/Lapalok Gold Meleeing and cannoning in the waterfall dungeon is the fastest option. Higher level summoners may find it faster to melee them in the Chaos tunnels, as the Waterfall dungeon can be crowded. If you prefer a safe spot, you can range the ones in the Waterfall Dungeon, but it's usually crowded. If you want to melee them, you can use the Waterfall dungeon just fine without a cannon. There are many in the smoke dungeon, and, being single combat and rarely crowded, it is easier to avoid kill steals, but the Fire giants there are spread far apart. You also need a face mask or Slayer helm at all times. There are also some in the Chaos tunnels but be warned: the area is multi-combat, so many of them can attack you at one time! Brimhaven is highly recommended for players with combat levels above 127. If you think you are up to it you could also use the Deep Wilderness Dungeon, but you will have to bypass plenty of revenants to get there and then to get to and from the nearest bank in the Mage Arena. However, being in such a dangerous location, it is rarely crowded.
Flesh Crawlers Mazchna No Found in level two of the Stronghold of Security. Meleeing them is the best way to go, since they are aggressive to all levels.
Gargoyles Chaeldar, Sumona, Duradel/Lapalok Crimson To kill them, you must use a Rock Hammer on them when they are low health. Fastest way to complete this task is kill them by the rope in the Chaos Tunnels just north of Edgeville. Use a Saradomin Sword on Crush and rotate between the two spawn points. A Titan familiar is helpful, lots of healing is unnecessary as you are so close to the Edgeville bank. For the death blow, the special Slayer technique/requirement is to use a Rock Hammer on them when they reach low health. They can be found in two locations. (1) The Slayer Tower. Remember to wear a Nosepeg while running past the Aberrant Specters. There is a safespot you can use, although melee is much faster. (2) The south east entrance to the Chaos tunnels. It is multi-combat, but it is quite easy to engage only one Gargoyle at a time. They are weak to crush, so a Godsword or Sara Sword is more effective then a whip.
Ghosts Turael/Spria, Mazchna No You can kill the ones in Melzar's Maze or Tortured Souls near the Ectofuntus.
Goblins Turael/Spria Gold Kill the level 2's near Lumbridge. Or, to maximise your XP per assignment, consider the Level 26's deeper into in the First level of the Stronghold of Security.
Goraks Duradel/Lapalok, Sumona No Fast slayer xp, use a cannon to further increase the speed. Can be found in the God Wars Dungeon as well as by using the Fairy Ring code "DIR". You might want to do them for points or their claws, so you can make a potion called Magic essence potion.
Greater Demons Sumona, Duradel/Lapalok Crimson These are a possible option for high levelled Slayers to skip, however if you are level 127 or higher, rotating through the three spawns in the northern part of the Greater Demon section of Brimhaven dungeon can yield decent enough experience. It is still often crowded. You can range or mage the caged ones in the Watchtower Dungeon. Remember that you can't get your arrows back though! There are some in the upstairs area of the Brimhaven Dungeon if you wish to melee them. For Higher levels, melee is advised.
Harpie Bug Swarms Vannaka, Chaeldar Gold Found near the coast north east of Tai Bwo Wannai. You must equip a Lit Bug Lantern in your shield slot. The best way is to melee them, but it's possible to range them using a one-handed range weapon since you must have have the Bug lantern in your shield hand.
Hellhounds Sumona, Duradel/Lapalok Gold You can range them under Taverley or in Ardougne's gold mine. There are many safespots for you to use. Range is advised, though you can melee them. A second location is just east of the Teleportation lever in the wilderness, which you can get to from outside the gates to West Ardougne. While Revenants make the wilderness option risky, you are close enough to the lever to teleport out should one show up. At that point, switch worlds and return via the Ardougne Teleportation lever.
Icefiends Turael/Spria Gold? Found on top of Ice Mountain and the God Wars Dungeon. Range is suggested, as these critters are spread out.
Infernal Mages Vannaka, Chaeldar Gold Found in the Slayer Tower and the Chaos Tunnels. They use a Magic attack, so full dragonhide is advised. You can melee or range, neither is better than the other (depending on the ammo used and levels).
Iron Dragons Sumona, Duradel/Lapalok Green, but slow This would be a good task to skip for Slayers who want to move quickly, especially those with lower levels. If you would still like to do them, you can melee them with protect melee in Brimhaven Dungeon. Piety is almost mandatory. The easiest way to do these is to range them, however, at low range levels Slayers may prefer to just skip them. A Rune Crossbow with anti-fire potions and an anti-fire shield makes prayer unnecessary, and no damage will be taken so long as you still have anti-fire potions. You can mage them in a similar manner. The best spell would be wave spells or Fire Bolt while wearing Chaos Gauntlets. Slayer Dart is also a good choice. Note that Mage is the most expensive and innacurate of these tactics.
Jellies Green They use a Magic-based Melee attack, so full dragonhide is suggested. Found in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon, where there is a safespot you can use. They are also located in the Chaos Tunnels, although there are also poisonous spiders in the same cavern as the Jellies. It is possible, however, to find a spot rarely trafficked by spiders. An antipoison potion or two is recommended, as you likely won't need much food.
Jungle horrors Green You can do them for points though, but this isn't recommended as they are quite strong, spread and are assigned in large numbers. However, with 70+ defence you can easily finish an assignment.
Kalphites Gold Found in the Kalphite Lair west of the Shantay Pass. You need a rope to get in. Melee and Cannon the Kalphite Soldiers in the West room on the way to the Kalphite Queen. The Whip is preferable to Keris. Don't forget your anti-poison. Found in the Kalphite Lair west of the Shantay Pass. You need a rope to get in. You can range Guardians near the Kalphite Queen's lair, or you can melee workers. Guardians are poisonous, so if you are not confident about your ability to safespot, bring an anti-poison. Keris can also be very useful on the lower levels if you cannot one hit them with your preferred weapon. It can also be fun to see how much you can hit. Those who have a whip, however, should know that the whip yields more damage per hour.
Killerwatts No Must complete Ernest the Chicken, Found in an alternate dimension reachable through Draynor Manor. They use a magic-based melee attack, so full dragonhide is advised. You must wear Insulated Slayer Boots. You can range them, as they are spread out.
Kurasks No The best method is melee with a Leaf-Bladed sword. Guthan's can't heal you, as you can't do any damage to it without the Leaf-Bladed sword. Using bones to peaches is an option though, as they drop normal bones. You can also use full Guthan's on the Jellies found right before the Turoths. There is a safespot in the room, if you want to range using Broad Arrows or mage with Slayer Dart. Range or mage is highly advised. They drop a lot of good herbs, as well as herb seeds, Leaf-Bladed swords, and slayer range ammo.
Lesser Demons No The best spot is beneath Karamja Volcano. There is a safespot you can use to range or mage them.
Mithril Dragon Green, but slow Found in the Ancient Cavern. High level Slayers could find these quick slayer points. They are not really worth skipping as they are assigned in such low numbers, and with the right tactics are quite easy. The best tactic is to wear dragonhide or preferably Karils, with an anti-dragonfire shield and pots of course, and meleeing them with protect melee on. Piety makes a large difference. It is disputed that the leaf-bladed sword can be slightly better than a whip as Mithril Dragons are weak to stab. Found in the Ancient Cavern. They are assigned in small numbers, but could prove too difficult for low level and even high level Slayers who want an easy way to do them. One possible easier method besides Melee is to Range them with a Crossbow, much like Iron and Steel Dragons, although this can be very slow.
Minotaurs No You can range them if you wish, as they are fairly far apart. Found in the Stronghold of Security.
Mogres No You need to complete a miniquest before you can kill these. Talk to Skippy south east of Rimmington. You need to sober him up for him to tell you about the Mogres. You need to douse him with water, make him nettle tea, and a hangover cure that you made in the Plague City quest. You'll need: 2 Buckets of water, Teacup, bowl of water, nettles, bucket of milk, chocolate dust, and snape grass. Douse him, serve him tea, then give him the cure. From that point on you will will be able to access the Mogres. You need fishing explosives to draw them out.
Molanisks No Can only be done if you have completed Death to the Dorgeshuun. Found in multiple spots in the Dorgeshuun Agility Course. You need to ring a Slayer Bell near one of them to make them vulnerable to attack.
Monkeys Gold There are a lot of monkeys outside the Nature Altar, although melee cannot be used. Use Ranged or Magic on them. Another spot, to maximise your combat XP/assignment, if you have completed Monkey Madness, you can teleport to Ape atoll and kill the Gorillas in the Temple. This method provides fast slayer and combat experience. Pray melee as well as use any strength increase prayer. There is an altar right near the Gorillas that you can use to refill prayer. Be advised, anti-poisons are highly advised, since there are very poisonous spiders near the Gorillas.
Moss Giants Gold You can range the ones underneath Edgeville Dungeon or the Chaos Tunnels. Otherwise, melee is advised.
Nechryaels Crimson These can be found in the Slayer Tower and the Chaos Tunnels. Make sure you wear a Nosepeg while running past the Aberrant Spectres. You can melee them, but beware of the Death Spawns, as they use a magic attack. There is a safespot behind the table if you wish to range them. A 'cornering' technique may be used to avoid being damaged by the Death Spawns while the Nechryael is being fought. There are also a few in the Chaos Tunnels. It's multi-combat down there, so it's possible to use chinchompas or ancients on the Nechryaels and all their Death Spawns.
Pyrefiends Gold Found in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon and in Soul Wars. They have a Magic-based melee attack, so full dragonhide is advised.
Rats No Fairly easy to kill. Kill using any method you choose. Giant rats also work.
Rock Slugs No Found in the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon. You need to use a Bag of Salt on them when they have low health.
Spiritual Mages No Found in the God Wars Dungeon. You can kill any of the four types, Zamorakian Spiritual Mages are closer together within the Zamorak dungeon and are easier to kill quickly. Wear prayer-boosting gear and use Protect from Mage. An easy, yet slower way, is to wear Saradomin items with Zamorak items. Attack the Saradomin Spiritual Mages already in combat with a Zamorak monster. The best spot to do this is just east of the entrance. As long as you deal damage to the spirit, if it is killed by the monster, then you still get the kill and experience. In addition, the spirit will not attack you and you will also receive the drop! Note, you do not get to count the kill towards the number of slain Spiritual Mages unless you strike the killing blow.
Scabarites Crimson For those wishing to do this task for experience and Crimson Charms, extremely fast Slayer experience can be gained by fighting the ones in Sophanem Dungeon. It is multi-combat, and highly dangerous. A safer way to do this task is to fight the melee ones, in the south end of the dungeon with a cannon and protect melee. It is advised to bring a tinderbox, even if using a Bulls-eye lantern because the Scarab Mages can put out your light with their attack. A more dangerous way is to set up your cannon in the middle and pray range, you will also need the 25% boost of piety as well. Changing this task might be preferable for low-level or casual Slayers. For those wishing to do this task, the small scarabs found in the pyramid and connecting dungeon during and after the Missing My Mummy quest are ideal.
Scorpions Gold You can range them underneath Falador Mines.
Shadow Warrior Crimson/Gold Found underneath the Legends' Guild. No safespots, so melee them. Bank upstairs if you run out of food.
Skeletal Wyverns Crimson Melee and Cannon in the Ice Caves south of Rimmington. You will need a mind, elemental, or dragonfire shield to protect against their breath. Attack boosts from prayers and potions are strongly advised. You should pray Melee and wear a combination of good range defense and prayer bonus (such as a Bandos Chestplate and Verac Skirt). You might want to do for points or crimson charms (as they are assigned in very small numbers) and their fabulous drops, like lvl 3 clues or a draconic visage, otherwise change the task. Remember to use a Mind Shield, Elemental Shield or Dragonfire Shield to protect from their breath attack. Lower levelled, more casual slayers could try ranging them from a safe spot, although this is slow.
Skeletons Gold Depending on the location and level of the skeletons you fight, you can range or mage them using Crumble Undead.
Spiders Gold The third level of the Stronghold of Security has loads of spiders. Melee armour is strongly advised.
Spiritual Rangers No Change this task as they hit very high and accurately, and don't have very good drops... May want to do them for points.
Spiritual Warriors No Found in the God Wars Dungeon. You can kill any of the four types. You can use prayer if you wish, or use Guthan's to heal. An easy, yet slower way, is to wear Saradomin items with Zamorak items. Attack the Saradomin Spiritual Warriors already in combat with a Zamorak monster. The best spot to do this is just east of the entrance. As long as you deal damage to the spirit, if it is killed by the monster, then you still get the kill and experience. In addition, the spirit will not attack you!
Steel Dragons Green, but slow Change them if the player does not have at least level 80 in skill(s), defence, and hitpoints. Melee: Wear full Proselyte and use Protect from Melee while meleeing them. Range: Wear dragonhide and range them with a one-handed weapon, while using Anti-Fire Potions. A Rune Crossbow is the best weapon for this. Mage: Use Slayer Dart or Fire Bolt with the Chaos Gauntlets, while using Anti-fire Potions. Note that Mage is the most expensive tactic of the three.
Suqahs Gold Can only be done if you have completed Lunar Diplomacy. Fight the ones south of the village, as the ones north can use magic as well as melee. There are safespots in the ruined house you can use to range or mage them.
Trolls No Melee and cannon the Ice Trolls north of Jatizso. Wear Proselyte and a Fremmenik Roundshield, and pray Protect from Melee. Simply kill the trolls found just outside the Rellekka entrance to Keldagrim.
Turoths Green They are located deep within the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon, and that require either: Leaf-Bladed weaponry/Broad Arrows/Magic Dart. Players may however, use full Guthan's on Jellies that are located right north of the Turoths.
Wall Beasts Crimson Found underneath Lumbridge Swamp. Remember your Spiny Helmet.

Warped tortoises No There are two tortoises at the entrance of the cave which can be fought easily. You must first weaken them using the Crystal Chimes, obtained during the quest The Path of Glouphrie.
Waterfiends Crimson A healing familiar is strongly recommended as are swallow whole scrolls if using a Bunyip. For armour use magic defense and protect range, although high level players may do well without prayer. Location: Chaos tunnel, Ancient Cavern. The Ancient Cavern is recommended as it's single combat there, however, a high level player with a Titan can get very good experience in the Chaos Tunnels. Waterfiends are weak to crush, while a slash weapon such as a whip can be used it is significantly better to use a Saradomin Sword, Godsword, or a Zamorakian Spear.
Werewolves Gold A bank is nearby so you can stop and bank for food if you need to. Wolves do not count for this task however; see Wolves below.
Wolves Gold You can kill the ones on White Wolf mountain. Be wary of the Big Wolf though. Werewolves do not count for this task however; see Werewolves above.
Zombies Gold Armoured zombie offer the best experience. See Zombie page for more details, the Armoured version is a good training spot but a quest is needed to kill them.
Zygomites No Found in Zanaris. They have a Magic-based Melee attack, so wear full dragonhide while meleeing them. Keep watch on your hp because the random events in lost city stop you from moving, but the zygomite can still hit you back.

Certain Summoning familiars have the ability to heal the summoner. This effect can be particularly useful if the player is on a long slayer task and running low on food.

Although the Bunyip has a better healing rate than the Void Spinner, the Void Spinner can be useful for the player if he/she doesn't have 68 Summoning.

The Titans are also aggressive to the monster you are attacking, be careful.

Note - The healing ability still works even if a player does not have any remaining Summoning points.

Combat Familiars come in handy for certain slayer tasks that are multi-combat to increase experience per hour. Listed below are some of the more useful combat familiars.

VERY IMPORTANT!: If a combat familiar gets either the final hit on a target or deals majority damage you receive Half the normal amount of xp for that kill.
