Skogres are encountered during the Zogre Flesh Eaters quest and live south of Castle Wars. An aggressive Skogre may also appear when you bury Zogre bones inside Jiggig. Their name appears to be a portmanteau of "skeleton" and "ogre".

Strengths and weaknessesEdit

Skogres are almost immune to normal weapons (you will hit, but not often, and not hard). Fire magic and brutal arrows are effective against them.

Money Making GuideEdit

These are a great way to make money and get range experience too. Their 100% drops are around 3k and high level rangers will have no problem taking them down in few shots. It is recommended that you don't use coffin keys on the coffins because you can get a few nails, an iron pickaxe or nothing at all. There are many safe spots throughout the dungeon you can range them from, these include and are not limited to: at the cave entrance there is a rock to hide behind, down the stairs you can range them from behind the coffins and you can also range them from the small triangle of rocks to the west.

TriviaEdit

• Originally, the examine text for the Skogre was "It's falling apart!" before a graphical update; however, it should be noted that a few Skogres still retain this examine text.
• Due to damage reduction, the special attack of the Penance trident will hit 177 instead of a 1-hit kill.
