Sir Vant is a White Knight who can be found in the basement of Roddeck's house in Lumbridge, directly east of the general store. He and his squire are featured in the Unstable Foundations tutorial. Sir Vant has the player aid him in defeating the dragon after his squire is killed. He claims to have been called upon by the White Knights to slay a huge dragon inside the cellar.

Sir Vant seems to be wearing a White platebody, White platelegs and White boots due to his status as a White Knight of Falador. He also wields a Steel Longsword along with an Anti-dragon shield.

• Like all White Knights, his name is a play on words. The name of this particular knight is derived from the word "Servant". This is apt given his position as both a Tutor and as a White Knight - serving the players who meet him and Sir Amik Varze (head of the White Knights).
• Sir Vant also appeared in the Learning the Ropes tutorial before it was removed from the game. In said quest, he had a different appearance and fought a three-headed green dragon instead.
• Players that had created their accounts before the new tutorial was added experience a glitch or mistake made by Jagex, when the player enters the trap door near Roddeck, the "Sir Vant" there has the old "Sir Vant" face model.
