Silver sickle detail

Silver sickles are melee weapons crafted from silver bars. They are made during the Nature Spirit quest. The silver sickle can be traded only when not blessed. They require level 18 Crafting and a sickle mould to make. Silver sickles give 50 experience when crafted. Silver sickles are the only melee weapons crafted from silver, apart from quest-related weapons like the rod of ivandis, the ivandis flail, and the blisterwood polearm.

The silver sickle can be blessed in order to produce a silver sickle (b), which has many different effects. The player can bless the sickle after the completion of Nature Spirit, by using a normal sickle on the altar of nature inside the Nature Grotto.

If crafting large amounts of silver bars, it is recommended that you do NOT craft silver sickles. This is because tiaras provide more Crafting experience (2.5 more experience) and holy symbols sell for more money (35 more coins).

TriviaEdit

  • Prior to an update on the 9 November 2009, players could only possess one blessed sickle at a time. A method that was used to circumvent this restriction was the drop trick.
  • Attempting to craft a silver sickle at the furnace on Entrana now gives you the message, "You can't make that on Entrana; the monks will object." Most weapons are not allowed on Entrana, but you can always smuggle in a pair of magic secateurs via tool leprechauns.
