A Silver bar is a bar of refined silver. It can be created through the Smithing skill at level 20 by using a silver ore on a furnace, granting 13.75 Smithing experience. A silver bar can be smelted in a furnace into different shapes through the Crafting skill. Even though it takes less skill to smelt silver ore into a bar than gold using the smithing levels, crafting any object out of silver takes more skill than from gold.
