Silver athlete's legs were released the 11 July 2012, in preparation for the Gielinor Games. They were made available for purchase along with the release of the games on 24 July 2012 and can be purchased at Oomad Arrow's Gielinor Games Reward Shop. They cost 1,250 contribution points (and 2,500 extra points to unlock the silver tier). When worn, it reduces weight by .9 kg, while the full set reduces by 4.5 kg. This makes it useful if you are training agility or doing a lot of running. Every item from the set, with the exception of the ring, can be stored in POH's toy box.

If you try to rest while wearing the silver athlete legs with zen resting activated, your player will not zen rest, but will rest in the default way of sitting down. This also occurs while wearing the gold and bronze versions of the athlete's legs.
