Shark soup is a type of food that was added to RuneScape with the update of Player-owned ports, but is currently unable to be made by any means. It is supposed to heal 1,400 life points, apparently less than its presumed ingredient, a Shark.

Following the pattern set by Rocktail soup - the properly released counterpart of Shark soup - it is assumed that the ingredients of this item would be a Shark and some Spices. It would likely be able to be created in the Workshop of the ports, after building the respective upgrade.

History

After the item was released along with Player-owned Ports, this item was uncraftable by any means, even though it was also present in the Grand Exchange's list of items. Having a starting price of 1 coin, it began rising steadily as unfulfilled buying offers were placed.

On 20 August 2013, the item was removed from the Grand Exchange with its price at 470 coins, and any reference to the item was removed from quickchat.

Trivia

  • It appears to be a piece of Nigirizushi floating in the centre of the soup.
  • Mod Doctor confirmed that there are no plans to add Shark Soup in the future. This was in the "Ports - The Next Journey - FAQ".
