The Shark outfit is a set that was introduced on 2 March 2015. It was obtainable from Treasure Hunter from 26 March 2015 00:00 UTC to 26 March 2015 23:59 UTC and from 29 March 2015 00:00 UTC to 30 March 2015 23:59 UTC.
Pieces of the Shark outfit can only be traded for other parts of the shark outfits. They cannot be traded for anything else.
Equipping all pieces of the outfit increase the chance of catching fish while Fishing by 5%. This chance increases when used in conjunction with Call of the sea auras. The outfit removes aggression from living rock creatures. The outfit also has the option to consume any caught fish, which can be toggled on the shark head. It is confirmed that the shark outfit's consume option will not affect prawn balls/crackers or golden fish eggs[1]. When the consume option is enabled while wearing a sign of the porter, the fish will be banked instead.
If the player has a complete set of the Fishing outfit, they will get the additional experience when wearing the Shark outfit. The shark outfit can be combined with the Tiger shark outfit and Burnt shark outfit to make the Fury shark outfit for additional benefits.
The Fishing outfit does not need to be in the players bank to get the additional experience. Even after destroying the Fishing outfit the additional 5% experience remains.
