The Sha'va'taya, or Last Journey in the common tongue, was an aviansie ritual carried out on Abbinah.[1]

It was a rare occurrence for aviansie to reach old age on Abbinah, and while it was a good omen for one to do so, they were also a drain on their tribe's resources. To alleviate this burden, the eldest aviansie would embark on Sha'va'taya. The tribe would throw a huge feast, and the elders would bless the youngest members and tell tales, before walking off the edge of the island they lived on.

It was said that during the last moments of the ritual, the spirits would be heard to sing, welcoming the elders to their new home.

Armadyl outlawed the Sha'va'taya after uniting the tribes of Abbinah under his rule.
