  • WARNING* Being hit by any of the sea snakes has an extremely high chance of being poisoned, only very rarely(10-20% of the times), players are not poisoned from an attack by the snake. Players are advised to bring an antipoison potion.

The Sea Snake Hatchling drops normal bones, gives 50 slayer xp if assigned as a task, and their poison hits 5s. Sea Snake Young drop large bones, give 85 slayer xp, and their poison hits 7s. They can be ranged or maged safely behind fungi and eggs in the dungeon.

[edit] Habitat(s)

  • Miscellania & Etceteria Dungeon during and after Royal Trouble quest. Snakes are nearest the Etceteria entrance. If coming from Miscellania entrance and after using the lift, bring a plank which respawns at the top of the lift. The plank is needed to get across the 3 slippery rocks to avoid 8 damage for each rock. If you want to make sure you have more food, you can bring a tinderbox and a few logs, because the sea Snakes often drop Raw Bass that can be cooked to heal your hitpoints.

[edit] Trivia

  • The examine text for the young is a reference to the Badger Badger Badger web cartoon by Weebl. On the fourth loop a snake appears and the voiceover says "Snake, it's a snake, oh, it's a snake".
  • The examine text for the hatchlings is a reference to the Metal Gear games series.
