The Scrimshaw of magic is an item that can be made with the Fletching skill at level 95 once all four scroll fragments of Magic have been retrieved from the Player-owned port. It requires 85 magic.

When equipped, it increases the chances of landing a critical hit with Magic attacks by 2.5%. The untradeable version will increase the chance of landing a critical hit by 2.7%.

It is worth noting that this scrimshaw along with its superior counterpart are obsolete since the update of critical hit ratio to damage dealt, where the Superior scrimshaw of the elements and its inferior counterpart provide a flat 11.1% increase to damage dealt which in most cases is better than that of the magic scrimshaws.
