The Saradomin Strike spell requires level 60 Magic to cast and can do a maximum of 30 damage per spell, or 45 damage when the Charge spell is in effect (when using a extreme magic potion). Players must complete the Mage Arena minigame and be wielding a Saradomin staff before they are able to use this spell. Before, Saradomin Strike (along with Flames of Zamorak) was one of the two God spells which could not be autocast. However, as of 2 September, 2009 it can be autocasted. This spell, when cast, appears similar to the special attack of enchanted opal bolts.

Saradomin Strike lowers the target's Prayer level by one point each successful cast.

This is one of the three highest hitting spells in the regular spellbook, when used with Charge, it ties with the damage the spell Ice Barrage can do. However, Ice Barrage has been superseded by the spell Miasmic Barrage. Like all God spells this spell needs a God staff. That means you can't use another staff that gives unlimited kinds of runes. You have to buy or craft all the runes needed.

Saradomin Strike costs 900 coins for each cast, not counting the cost of a Saradomin staff.

Remember, you cannot use Ancient Magicks or Lunar Spells if you are using regular Magic.

Wise Old Man used this spell during Swan Song, doing over 40 damage with it. He also used it during the Draynor Bank Robbery.
