The Saradomin cape is a reward from the Mage Arena minigame. To receive the cape, the player must win the activity by defeating Kolodion in his four disguises, speak to him, step through the nearby sparkling pool, and finally pray at the statue of Saradomin. Upon praying at the statue, the Saradomin cape will appear next to the player and can be picked up.
The Saradomin cape is instantly destroyed, without warning, when dropped, as Saradomin reclaims the cape when it touches the ground. Once lost, a player can get a new cape by once again praying at the statue of Saradomin. Kolodion does not have to be fought again.
