Games necklace detail

A sapphire necklace is made by using a gold bar, a sapphire and a necklace mould on a furnace. It requires a Crafting level of 22 and yields 55 experience when made. It is the lowest-level jewel necklace. Making this item will result in a profit of 351 coins.

Grum's Gold Exchange in Port Sarim buys the necklace for 315 coins, half the amount of coins that High Level Alchemy yields.

Players with a Magic level of 7 or more can use the spell Enchant Level 1 Jewellery spell to enchant a sapphire necklace into a games necklace.

Sapphire necklaces are often bought and then enchanted, giving the player 17.5 experience per necklace. Since a games necklace often sells for more than the cost of a sapphire necklace and a cosmic rune (to enchant it), this can be a good way of making money and gaining Magic experience at the same time while still a low level.
