|Examine||Enchanted sapphire-tipped mithril crossbow bolts.|
Enchanted sapphire bolts are mithril bolts tipped with enchanted sapphire. Sapphire bolts can be enchanted through the spell Enchant Crossbow Bolt (Sapphire) by a player with level 7 Magic. The spell enchants 10 sapphire bolts at a time. These bolts require at least a rune crossbow to fire.
Enchanted sapphire bolts have a 5% chance to activate the Clear Mind enchantment. Upon activation it steals 5% of the player's maximum Prayer points from the target. In PvP the opponents Prayer points are drained equally to the amount restored.
This effect can be triggered with auto attacks and abilities. Abilities will only consume bolts in PvP. Multi-target abilities such as ricochet can trigger the effect separately on secondary targets. Abilities that hit multiple times such as rapid fire have a chance to trigger it on each hit separately.
The chance of the special attack occurring is increased to 7% upon the completion of the elite Seers' Village achievements.

- On 23 February 2010, a bug was leaked in which one could duplicate enchanted bolts but was patched on the same day. Many players were banned for using this glitch.
- These bolts were untradeable when released, but a hidden update in 2007 made them tradeable.
