Safety First is an emote that players unlock when they complete the Misthalin Training Centre of Excellence miniquest. This emote does not have an enhancer, and is available to non-members as well as members.

Players can activate this emote from the emotes screen by scrolling down and clicking on the "Safety first" emote icon. The player's character will perform the emote once. If unlocked, players can perform the emote as much as they like.

There was a glitch on this emote. When the players rapidly click the emote button, they would perform the emote, keep doing that until the end, and the player will stand and the shield comes out, this has now been fixed and no longer can be performed.

There is still a glitch (along with all emotes that create temporary items, such as explore) that when one uses safety first and quickly uses the ring of stone, will make a rock with a shield in front of it.
