The Rune mace is stronger than the adamant mace. Like all Rune weapons, it requires 40 attack to wield. Players can make a rune mace with the smithing skill at level 87 using one rune bar, giving the player 75 smithing experience. This mace can be bought from the shop in the Champions' Guild, and the Grand Exchange in Varrock. The mace also has a decent +4 bonus for prayer, making it an ideal weapon for prayer lengthening while in combat. However, it is rarely used in combat. Its crush attack and strength bonuses are slightly better than that of the Gadderhammer.
