Rune darts are member's only Ranged throwing weapons. To wield them player must have at least 40 Ranged. They can be obtained by either using the Smithing and Fletching skills or trading with another player. They can also be dropped by Iron Dragons, Steel Dragons, and Red Dragons. Rune darts can be poisoned and can be wielded with a shield or god book for protection.

To create rune darts the player must have completed the Tourist Trap quest and have at least 89 Smithing and 81 Fletching. Each rune bar will create 10 Rune dart tips and the player will receive 75 Smithing experience. When feathers are added the player will receive 10 rune darts and 18.8 Fletching experience per rune dart.
