The Rune dagger is a dagger stronger than the adamant dagger, but weaker than the Dragon dagger. Like all Rune weapons, it requires 40 attack to wield. It can be used in combat, although it has other purposes, such as dicing/slicing pineapples, or cutting through webs. It once was the strongest dagger available to free players, but after the PvP Worlds update, the corrupted dragon dagger now succeeds the rune dagger. Players can make a rune dagger with the Smithing skill at level 85 using 1 rune bar, giving the player 75 Smithing experience. Members can poison this weapon, giving them an advantage in combat. Like all daggers other than the dragon dagger, this item is rarely used. This dagger is almost never used in p2p servers.

Rune daggers can also be obtained as rewards from Level 3 Treasure trails, and as a drop from Blue Dragons, Green Dragons, Cave Horrors, Basilisks, Dust Devils, Aviansies, Turoths, Elf warriors, or looted from Eclectic implings. It can be bought from the Grand Exchange in Varrock or by trading with other players.

it says "like all rune weapons it requaires 40 attack" if im right the rune cane only needs 38 attack
