[edit] Fest

Please sign up for the Santa List and for the Clan Wars Teams, P2P players sign up here and F2P players here. P2P Players dont forget to sign up for the main event; signup for Fortress Wars!

Note! It has been decided that if not enough players show up both teams wil be merged into one to fight another clan. If no clans are available at the time to fight; then the f2p section of the fest will have to be held another day. The fest will continue as planned though moving on to the p2p section and fortress wars. Users are highly encouraged to spread the word of clan wars and both teams as this is a new activity in Wikifests. This is the first time so much of the wikifest is going to be devoted to f2p so dont let the wiki down!

Meeting and greeting

The plan is to meet in a non-member world, and then later the members go to a member world for the member part of the party.

During the Wikifest, people should join the R S Wiki Chat. This chat will be left during the clan wars portion of the fest. And will be returned to afterwards.

The following schedule is very provisional and is yet to be agreed or finalised.

The Winter Wikifest event plan
Time (GMT) Non-Members / Members
11:30pm

Meet and greet in Varrock square in non-members world (World 101).
Any non-member presents pre-agreed on the Santa List will be given.

11:45pm

Costume competition. There will be a members division and a non-members division.
Members will need to put on member costumes before switching to non-member world. You will be qualified on how original you are not how bizarre you look.

12:00am

Hide and seek Varrock. Whoever hides will have a present for the person who finds them.

12:20am

Walk to Falador Party Room.

Not everyone can teleport to Falador so we will walk (or follow) as a group.

12:25am

Party room disco and individual preformances (while items are put into drop chest).

12:30am

Party room party-drop.

12:40am

Go play F2P clan wars Teams will be P2P versus F2P! Please sign up for p2ps and for f2p teams

1:30am

P2P ONLY Go to members World 130 Go play fortress wars (please signup for team)

During this time, member presents pre-agreed
on the Santa List will be given.

[edit] Varrock

Everyone met in Varrock on World 101. There was a lot of chaos and spamming and many non-wikians thought it was a riot. Not many presents on the Santa List were given out. After everyone wished each other a Happy Winter Wikifest, we all walked or teleported to Rimmington.

[edit] Rimmington and the Draynor Siege

Everybody changed into costume and lined up for the costume contest. However, as C Teng began judging, Chiafriend12 came up with an idea: he rallied a large group of people to follow him and run into Draynor, shouting things such as:

  • "This is a stick up! Put your hands in the air!"
  • "Diiieeeee!"
  • "@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@".

Once again there was a lot of spamming. We wikians became divided, with about a third of them following Chiafriend12 and the other two thirds staying for the costume contest. Eventually, the two groups joined back together, and, skipping the hide and seek, we all went towards the Wilderness.

[edit] Clan Wars

After jumping over the Wilderness Ditch and making our way to clan wars, we divided into several groups: the members, and a few groups of free players. There was a P2P vs. F2P team fight (where the P2Pers won... narrowly) before almost everybody went into the free-for-all portal and everything descended into chaos. When we entered the free-for-all immediately team killers began piling on Chia. A few people broke off and began Dm'ing toward the entrance but most of the people following Chia wound up wandering around piling tkers.
