I'm nominating C teng for user of the month because he had made more work and put some of the Summer wiki fest Countdown. C teng had made 1000 edit and he had become admin. Comments, and Invalidation Notice:I'm going to use RS:IAR and say that this is invalid for a few reasons.

1. You got close on the EXACT edit count-it's 1082 in the mainspace. However, edit count truly means nothing; it's edit CONTENT that counts.
2. In-game aspects of RuneScape, like his favorite minigames, don't count as good points to put in RfUs. They mean ZERO on the wiki.
3. The Wikifest really has NOTHING to do with the well-being of the wiki.
4. Most importantly, you did not notify C Teng of this nomination, which is a RULE for RfUs.

C Teng, I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to close this. Japol, those are awful and ridiculous reasons to start an RfU. Stinkowing _{(WHAT'S IN IT?)}

Withdrawal Notice and Explaination. I don't want to look like a sore loser...but I, seeing as how Leevclarke is IMMENSELY more popular and more deserving, would like to not be a nominee this month. I have a few reasons why I'm doing this.

1. As stated above, Leevclarke is going to win hands-down. I, unfortunately, feel that I am hated here, and when I'm not hated, my sanity is questioned. I don't think you people want a pessimistic UotM.
2. When Chia nominated me, it was nice, but I'd like to point out to him that his reasons weren't really REASONS for nomination. I could have been here for FIVE years (even though the wiki's been around for less than that, just use 5+ years for this example, 'kay?) and made nothing, but pointless edits. Also, many, if not the majority of my edits are to my subpages, and to talk pages. Don't believe me? Go to my "Created Pages" subpage, and see when the newest article I created before Decayed altar was. I am HARDLY involved in community decisions, and when I DO get inolved, I never know what to say. I don't think you people want an lazy UotM.
3. As many of you know, I have placed two messages on my talk page: one to vandals, and one to everyone. This is to prevent the massive amount of crap I usually get from winding up on my talk page, but personally, I don't think they're working. I get angry easily, from disruptive IRC users to vandals who hate my guts to even someone telling me how to act. I fear that Earthere's right-I may need a Wikibreak...BADLY. I honestly don't want to do it, though, because I love this wiki...but still! I don't think you people want a angry UotM.
4. Finally, I am going through stressful situations just about every hour. As I type this, the kid two computers over is making disgusting snoring noises, and he's mean when told he's doing something wrong/disturbing/gross (and I even KNOW HIM WELL!) His zealot of a sister, who I've known even longer, is whining to my study hall teacher about their bus being late today, and since she's more autistic than me, it's a nightmare listening to her. I have TWO teachers who lie to me, parents who seem near-deaf (and may actually be truly going deaf, I dunno), a liar/thief best female freind, a bratty girlfriend (who's also psycho), a MASSIVE secret project for a former friend (which will take around a month to complete!), and a school full of bullies. I can't handle all that...I just can't! I'm actually looking for a new girlfriend, since my current one is immature, and acts/thinks like a toddler (I'm dead serious, she has the mindset of a five-year-old). Couple all that with a well-established user from this wiki who thinks I need my sysop privilages revoked, another wiki to look after, a site to write articles for, five forums to check, homework to do...and I'm a mess! I don't think you people want a stressed UotM.

I am nominating Leevclark because I believe he demonstrates those traits that are the most helpful to this wiki. He is helpful, friendly, does not engage in angry useless arguments. He discusses things reasonably, reverts plenty of vandalism, and also works on some of those little chores that many users find too tedious to bother with. He has the types of contributions that we can show to new users as examples of how to make this wiki a good/better place.--Degenret01 07:25, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
