Neutral - I am unsure if all of these comments were made in a jokingly manner or not. Clearly issues exist between Nericat and others, but if this is simply a couple of individuals not getting along, I would still support giving them the title. Because sometimes people just don't get along with each other and that's that. However, if this is a bigger issue and there is more going on here, then I have reservations. The bottom line is, I don't know any of the individuals personally to make a judgement as to what is really going on with this situation. So with the limited information provided I have no opinion on whether Nericat should receive the title.

Comment - I feel like there's more going on here than just hostility being directed at the people who have the Wikian title in this Discord. Comments about admins (I assume Ciphrius Kane does not hang out in a Discord for players going for true trim) and the wiki itself cannot be explained as such. It seems more like there is some bad feeling from Nericat towards the wiki for some reason, though I don't know what that might be and I wish that it had been expressed in a more constructive way than this.

I could be wrong about this, but it's enough for me to say I'm not comfortable with them gaining the title right now. People who have the title do represent us on some level, and I expect them to behave appropriately. It's a shame because Nericat has been making helpful contributions to the wiki and if concerns about their behaviour cease to be a issue in future I think that they could be a worthy Wikian.

Oppose - Neri has been flaming and insulting the wiki and wikians in general for months via Discord. She took offense to the popular and lighthearted meme, "wikian btw" (a play on Ironman btw) and has engaged in several instances of harrassment and name-calling (see examples here [1]). In light of this, I am concerned about her ability to properly represent the wiki and its editors in-game and on other platforms while wearing the Wikian title. 3a the Wikian

Comment - I would like to hear what Nericat has to say about this. Also would you be able to show the context in which these comments were made? It's hard to judge the intention from just what Nericat has said.

Comment - ::Comment - All instances of 'Wikian' and such were directed specifically at the people in that Discord calling themselves Wikians - including 3a, Determined, and various friends of theirs. The reason for the hostility was because they joined specifically to harass and troll others in that server. The 'Wikian btw' meme was funny at first but it grew old and rather annoying after it became literally the only messages ever seen from 3a, Determined, and their various friends. For context, they only singled out to harass me because I pointed out initially that they shouldn't be flaunting about their title and should be editing the Wiki because they wish to help out, not just because they want a title that makes them feel superior to the rest, or what have you. In terms of the context-free quotes in the attached screenshot - The first one was political banter [3], the second one was ironman banter [4], third one was just general banter [5], the fourth series was in reference to how there's often disorganized information on the Wiki, and I was frustrated due to the urn pages being like that (though my gripes against that have since been (mostly) resolved), on the right side the first one was again about banning the people in that server calling themselves Wikians (when speaking about the staff in that server [6]), [7], in reference to someone pointing out an error on the Wiki and asking someone to correct it [8], in reference to the owner of said server making a channel specifically for the Wikian memes [9] and having memes in general (where I had #wikian_btw muted specifically to avoid this) [10]. Again, this is all in reference to people in that server harassing myself and Danny about the Wikian title [11], if I truly hated Wikians and the Wiki I wouldn't bother attempting to help out on it. Support -I believe 3a has good faith and bringing this up to us that Nericat would use the title to ruin our image. I've thought about it and I believe Nericat has only ever used "Wikian btw" as an inside joke. I have few inside jokes with my group of friends that people may find offensive if unintended audience hears it also. To me, all those directed insults seems to only ever be targeted inside her discord channel and people inside it. I can't judge how Nericat acts outside of discord and the limited amount of screenshot, but I don't believe Nericat is a bad person. Can I be wrong? Oh hell yes, but I believe Nericat is more good than bad. I don't think everyone is mature every single moment of time in their lives. There are times we just act immature because it can be a way to relieve stress. Everyone talks in memes and what not in 2017, especially on a discord server about a game. Soft oppose - This isn't to say that Neri should never receive the title, but a user with the Wikian title chastising the Wiki seems counter-intuitive. As well as to say that insults such as "autistic" can give a bad impression to other players not yet familiar with the site.
