Image no longer used in mainspace
Description: The Dragon Forge, where lava flows from mouths of dragons.
Reason: It's a good-quality image; with good lighting, rock detail, etc. Having a player here isn't a problem, as he fits in as an adventurer discovering the Dragon Forge. Looks good to me.

Anti-aliasing is not necessary for an image to be of a high quality. At 200px, the image is too small to notice whether there's anti-aliasing or not. Also, I did not take this image. Besides, having a player in an image is not necessarily a bad thing (see File:Fishing guild.png or :File:1600x1200brimmydungeon.png). A lot of users seem to keep going on and on about players ruining the image, when at times, it really isn't the case. C.Chiam^Talk 11:50, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Exactly why is the armour distracting or out of place? Dagonhai robes, dragonfire shield and a staff, and the colours are quite muted, so I don't see how it can be distracting or out of place in any way. Just some thoughts. C.Chiam^Talk 07:23, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Its light gray on a dark gray background and very dark gray robes, it sticks out like a sore thumb to me. Regardless of what sticks out, when I first opened the image, the first thing my eye was drawn to, despite all the glowing hot lava, was the player and their outfit. Enchanted Valley

Description: A waterfall runs through the valley of the centaurs.
Reason: This picture shows superb textures, a much-underlooked area (renowned for it's beauty, hated for it's uselessness) and delicately creates an image of peace.

Lumbridge

Reason: Lumbridge is a home. It's a home to all the newbie players and some of the highest too (RFD chest). It is where you start, it has alot of beauty, and superb textures.

Ape Atoll Agility Course(2)

Description: The entrance to the Ape Atoll Agility Course.
Reason: This image is incredibly bright and vibrant and shows one of Runescape's more exotic areas. It is also a replacement image due to the other one being unanimously disliked.

Support, Comment - More fun with the server cache I see! I think maybe it is best to wait a day or so until its completely sorted out before renominating. Although in case you don't, I support the one where you're looking kinda down on the monkey bars with the waterfall going under you, and if that is in fact the version you are nominating, this one, if direct linking works. Weak Oppose - Wonderful detail, but it's way to bright for that environment and you are "BLUE AND RED ARMOUR" in the midst of the Gloomy Black background. Comment - The brightness is normal, I'm wearing zamorak god armour because it is a temple of zamorak, and me praying on the altar symbolizes the connection shared with zamorak, the armour, and the temple.

Comment - I could possibly index it. I did a test run with as little of changing the look of areas, and got around 418k file size. Description: A Player stands to face Wilderness Ruins.
Reason: A clear and very striking image with chilling beauty, the Wilderness has always had a stunning design. It's perfectly portrayed in these Ancient Zaros Ruins.

The Knight's Sword

Description: A player stands outside Thurgo's hut.
Reason: It's a nice view of the beach.

Aquanite

Description The Aquanite, in all it's grace and beauty.
Reason I think the Aquanite's textures look great in HD. The colours are also eyecatching and the Aquanites seem to be graceful by the way they stand up tall.

Ape Atoll Agility Course(1)

Description: The entrance to the Ape Atoll Agility Course.
Reason: This image is incredibly bright and vibrant and shows one of Runescape's more exotic areas without the distraction of a player. Also highlights in particular the Runescape engines shader and anti aliasing capabilities.

- I see what you mean. Unfortunately after revisiting the spot in order to obtain a better angle, I found the camera is naturally locked either straight up or down so you have zero control. The best I could manage would be to cut the photo almost in half which I feel would defeat the point of having an image featured that is not high resolution. TEbuddy 09:32, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

Comment - After playing around with it for a few days after reading the responses, I have uploaded a new picture at what I believe to be a much better angle. Having some trouble with the cache, don't know if its me or wikia, if the old image still shows up just click the picture once here, and once again on the images page to see the updated version. I don't see a rule against such a thing in the rules above, and I have indeed replaced an image with a failing vote only to have it rebound before. The I look at it, it just seems like more work to wait four entire days then reupload and remake it. I will probably forget as well. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tebuddy (talk).

Sigh, I don't take screenshots. If I find an image that catches my eye, I nominate it. Therefore, asking me to try to take the screenshot with another angle is more or less pointless. Weak oppose - Its really nice, but I don't think its centered well enough. On the left side, there's a bit of land that's just baaarely cut off. Also, on the right side there's this suddenly white land mass and its cut off.
