Please note that the Events Team has one hard requirement: you must have an account on the wiki. If you do not have a wiki account, your RfET will automatically be void.

In addition, there are some softer requirements which can de debated upon during the RfET. Take these as guidelines for consideration if you are planning to nominate yourself, another person or to vote on an RfET:

• Trusted user - are they 'trusted' by the wiki community (in-game and/or on-wiki)?
• Game familiarity - are they familiar with the game, including being able to access most/all activities, successfully tank (or at least fight) bosses, etc...?
• Availability - are they available to attend/host events (time zone permitting), are they often available for discussion in the Events Team's IRC channel?
• Permission - if you are nominating someone other than yourself, please make sure to obtain their permission before nominating them.
• Due to the nature of working in the Events Team, members will be expected to work together closely and possibly under stress. As such the current team have immediate veto power - if it cannot work together well with the candidate, then the user should not join the team.

i think i should become part of the event team because i constintly try to do events on runescape i love them (GWD). Not many people like to go to Gwd but i try and make an event every day. i cant go to some events like (penguin hide and seek, corp). I always try and go to the events made from the event team. I may not be a level 138 but i can do events for my level. Ice Cloud is my Rs name and I want to be part of the events team. I try to attend the most RSW events as i can and I can do most if not all events. I'd like to be able to creat events than not everyone gets to do everyday such as Shooting Star, Evil Trees, Ect. I'd like to be able to help create and/or help organize any kind of events. I split up my self-nomination based on the above categories:

Trusted user -- I believe that I am a trusted member of the clan. I currently have recruiting power for the clan, and I am being trusted by Gaz and the rest of the community to be a hider tomorrow, I guess that can show my trustworthiness. I also had to buy 15k cabbages for Gaz for this event :P

Game familiarity -- I am very familiar with the game. I have been to every boss except Nex, Corp, and Zilly, and I have read and watched lots of guides on those bosses. Although I am not very high in combat stats (81 Ranged, Att/Str/Def in the mid-upper 80s, 99 Mage) I believe I will be able to help out some way at events in different ways (ever tried Polyporing Kree? Works surprisingly well :P)

Availability -- I am available almost all day, especially during weekends and nights (American time zone). There may be a few events that I will be unable to attend but I will be able to attend most.

Permission -- I give myself permission to nominate... I guess.

Now, I know the main reason that my last one was denied: I'm known as an immature person in the clan. I understand that and I'm trying to improve on it, and I can guarantee you all that if I am accepted into the Events Team, I will take my position very seriously and try my hardest to help out for events, keeping rage etc. to a minimum. I believe I would make a good candidate for the events team. I am a regular at the clan chat for 2 years which most regulars know who I am and a minor lurker in the IRC. I also have much experience in Runescape in general, able to competently do most bosses and minigames. I am also available almost every weekened unless I am busy, which is very rarely. I attempted to request for a spot last time, which was rejected for 2 main reasons, my rude bluntness and my suppose lack of dedication. The last RfET (Link here) was 7 months ago and I believe I changed my ways or at the very least, am able to contain it when it comes to planning/hosting/moderating events. If I become part of the events team, I'll try to be as dedicated as I can be, attending or planning any event I can whether it is of my taste or not. I would love to be part of the event team. As far as I know, I am a trusted member of the clan and a regular in the cc. Being a 6-year veteran of RuneScape and a member for a year, I know a thing or two about the game. I've never been a big fan for combat (Cb level: 88) and I'm not that confident against the powerful bosses (GWD, Nex, Corp, etc.) so if there is a separate category for non-combat event team members, I would like to apply to that. I try as hard as I can to be on RuneScape for as long as I can. The common times during most of the summer are 9 A.M. - 2 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time. I would love to be a part of the of the ET because of the many wide variety of new experiences and fun to be had at these events. I always love to attend these when I can, but I am sometimes quite combat shy when it comes to boss monsters, but I do, in fact, have the ability to fight. Although I'm level: 104, I've always been one to avoid massive combat bosses when I can, but love castle wars and other mini games like it. I have played Runescape for nearly 5 or so years and I have nearly memorized the land through all the quests I have gone on.(With help of this wiki of course) Being part of the ET, I can work great with others and always have new ideas to share. I am always one to fix a mistake when the problem arises and help others when it is required. As for events, I go to most of them and nearly all the time clear my schedule just to attend them. Although this is not always the case, I do my best to do so. I hope to be a valuable asset to the team and would be very appreciative of your response. I would love to join the ET because I try to participate in whatever events I can, but there will be some events I can't come to, like corp and GWD, but I would come to whichever I can. I think I am a valuable addition to the ET, since I organize most of the events in my clan, and have a high rank in it. I love to help noobs get along, and am good with the coding on the wikia. Oppose - Well, considering that you aren't involved in the community "that" much (you're in S:C sometimes, that's it), which you could do by going into the IRC where event's are organized, or joining RSW's clan chat so they know you're familiar with the game. Also, saying you can't go to GWD is a -1 since most of the event's I see the Event's team do, involve it. Regarding your comment in the parentheses, users should see you in the chat a lot of times, that way the know you are active enough to be at the events, and not just organize/suggest them.
