Essays are articles in which a certain idea is conveyed. They are not policies, which dictate specific rules, but rather general guidelines for conduct, editing, discussion, or anything else related to the wiki.

Nomination ProcessEdit

To nominate an essay, create a subpage titled RuneScape:Essays/(proposed essay name). Then, with its name in a three level header, link to or write the content of your essay and your reasons for nominating it. After a week, a sysop will close the discussion and decide whether or not to grant the proposed essay official essay status.
