This time, I think the page is very informative and useful for players of all levels and backgrounds. The Grand Exchange is the center of all trading and just about everybody in RuneScape uses it to buy, sell, or stand around and trade face to face. Plus, it is what affects the prices of every single tradeable item. This is a major part of RuneScape that should be featured. Whether you're a merchant, skiller, or fighter, you need the Grand Exchange in your life. Zezzima 04:20, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Oppose - As soon as you go on the page, it says that some of the information may be out of date. The point for an article of the month is to show off our top articles, not something that may need improvement.

Comment - You just opposed mine so you could support your own article. Very immature. If you think it's outta date, would you kindly tell me what update changed it? And a recent update also happened to summoning so I opposed yours.
comment - it says that because the grand exchange changes daily. that merely says it is mostly but not always 100% true. It is still legit.
- Comment - I removed the outdated sign: there hasn't been an update for the grand exchange for ages and so you shouldn't oppose it. don't just assume it's outdated. Zezzima 23:34, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- I opposed yours before I nominated mine, i thought that since nothing i supported was up I would make my own

Support - I would agree with zezzima. the grand exchange would update everyday so it is really hard to keep updated. I support. —OLEELVL100 (talk • contribs) forgot to sign this comment on 03:55, 5 May 2009.
- Comment - You got me confused... You support, although you agree with an opposer.

Support - The Grand Exchance article is one of the more in depth ones I have seen on the wiki. Full of information and helpful pictures, some charts and graphs; it's a great tool for people learning about the Grand Exchange, or to get a better taste of it. --

[edit] Summoning
This article gives an insight on Runescape's newest skill. This article is both one of the most popular and most visited articles on the wiki. If you dont believe me, look at the Top Content tab to the left ;) Not only is this article informative and popular, but it is a picture perfect article and should be the first thing new people see.

Quick clarification - Its the fourth most visited page (after the main page, Quests and Money making guide; source) and is the second most popular page (after Money making guide; source).

Strong Oppose - It doesn't tell enough about what you can do with summoning, and instead gives annoying "main article" links. And I also oppose for the same reason you do: it's out of date. The summoning & hairstyles update (forgot exact name) isn't reflected AT ALL on the summoning wiki page. This article is not good enough to be featured. —Zezzima (talk • contribs) forgot to sign this comment on 17:00, May 3, 2009.
- strong oppose =( ...i thought a regular oppose would do just fine

Oppose In this guide there is too much "main article" links, and there is not all that thre could be. I, of corse, understand "main articles" are simply part of wikia usages.

Oppose - I agree with Zezzima. I believe that this page actually needs work, and should not be featured. —Dude Guy96 (talk • contribs) forgot to sign this comment on 21:54, May 25, 2009.
Neutral Its a great page but still needs some improvement to some of the parts

[edit] Cape of Accomplishment
Skillcapes changed RuneScape in late 2006. They have single-handedly given more players a reason to train up certain skills to 99. Also, this article is one of the Wiki's most popular pages. It is well-detailed, well-written (with very few, if any grammatical errors) and tells a player almost anything a player would want to know about skillcapes. I think this article deserves to features on the main page.

Support - Makes all the important points pretty clearly. However, the trivia section needs to be revised before featuring, there's some useless information (e.g. The Quest cape can't be trimmed. That's said in the article itself.) Otherwise, good article. It isn't loaded with animations either.
XfinXTalkReply 21:19, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Oppose - The page is too short, and has little information about the cape. The only actual words come from like 2 paragraphs in the beginning and the trivia; the rest of the article is a huge table. Zezzima 01:53, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Support - Since they came out, I, along with most people I meet, strive to recieve a skill cape. It is a prestige honor, and I believe it's AotM material.

Support - Absolutely, especially with the pic of Kytti getting her farming cape trimmed. --Degenret01 09:10, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Support - I don't think that pic is a good reason, as it is very unclear, but the article is okay :-P

- comment - FFS!!! this article is WAAAAYYY too short!! Plus, I don't know why that outdated sign was at the ge page anyways. I removed it since there was no update for ge in a long time.
—Zezzima (talk • contribs) forgot to sign this comment.
- Comment- article length has no affect on whether an article should be AOTM or not...AOTMs are supposed to show quality not quantity. In fact I would support this article if I hadn't already nominated one myself.

- Length has nothing to do with the quality. Godsword and Santa hat are fairly small articles compared to some other AotM (like Armour and Mournings End Part 2). I'm guessing there was an obselete template on the GE page as it wasn't fully updated since the it was last updated.

Support - Per Chaos Monk. Frede 10:13, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Comment and Support - Firstly I like the article, the animated images, and the table format. However, I don't like the extensive Trivia section, much of which is fairly pointless, and could be included in the articles for each specific skillcape. Zezzima, you seem to simply be opposing and attempting to discredit other articles nominated simply because it's not your own nomination, and the comment on this entry seems to support that, as it relates to your nomination rather than the Skillcape article. [edit] Slayer
I think slayer should be out next featured article. It has been ranked 13 in the most visited page on Runescape wikia source. It has very fun activites and many high level players use it. Even the lowest levels find it enjoyable. Many say its well fun, good money and xp as you are training 3 (5 if on shared) skills at once. One good article that deserves to be featured.

Oppose - Slayer isn't a well-known skill. So what if it's ranked most visited?? It's just the act of killing monsters for slayer experience. The skill itself is really boring. If you wanna nominate anything good, nominate wc. —Noob4lyfe (talk • contribs) forgot to sign this comment on 17:40, June 5, 2009.
- By your reasoning, woodcutting is also really boring - cutting down trees for money/experience. By extension, all skills, nay, all of RuneScape is too - doing stuff for experience points or for coins.
- AOTM is judged by the quality of the article, not the quality of the thing that the article is about.
