Support - I think that this page is very informative, and as said above, everyone should know how to make money.MeStarfinder 17:47, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Oppose Last time I opposed this being on the front page was because the methods were erratic and inconsistent, and sometimes downright unreliable. This time the oppose is for totally different reasons, I can see that the article has been revamped totally since them, and is much more accessible now, but like Hess said, the article that you're voting for Peckham is just a short list, with nothing else there. I think if you want to nominate this again, you'd be better choosing 1 aspect of the Moneymaking guide, probably the longest and with best pictures/graphology and nominating that one. Khalron 11:17, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Oppose This guide is poorly written, and really out of date ‎Image:Easter egg.PNGAtlandy 14:44, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

comment POORLY WRITTEN??? OUT OF DATE??? explain your statements because I see nether and you are the first to say so.-- Image:Cosmic Rune.PNG Peckham33 Talk Image:Chaos Rune.PNG 15:50, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Oppose This guide fails, it used to be a huge table of ways to make money and I liked that better, but some retard took out the table and divided everything into these dumb links that you have to click. Revert the guide or I oppose. Zezzima 22:49, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Comment Correct me if I am wrong, but dosent everybody get only one vote. I say this to Zezzima and hess.-- Image:Cosmic Rune.PNG Peckham33 Talk Image:Chaos Rune.PNG 23:20, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Support Although a list of links, it helps connect people with various other guides for money making.

Comment Everybody should only get one vote... so i'll correct the counter. If people can vote sevral times then this could be decided by one person with a lot to say. MeStarfinder 00:08, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Oppose It is just a list of other articles - nothing more. C0smic 18:34, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Oppose I oppose this nomination because, although its well written it lacks a good rating system. The current system is not very effective as I find some of the best money makers under 4 stars and some strategies that make very little money under 5 stars. The system should be changed to a money per hour base rather than a 1-5 star base. While i agree that this system may be difficult to implement with certain strategies such as monster killing which may be inconsistent it is much better than a star based rating system. This system may be very difficult to achieve because I have yet to see such a money per hour system after nearly 5 years playing runescape. But I also have yet to see another system anywhere near as comprehensive as the current system. I also agree that spliting up the guide into links was a bad idea, even if it helps sort out things. I would much prefer to see 1 large page but with it divided up. Some examples of the current systems' inaccuracy: fishing sharks is at 4 stars and makes less than 150k an hour by both my tests (i have 80 fishing) and by the own example that is currently in the money making guide under fishing. Then there is the example of buying plant pots and then selling on G.E. rated at 5 stars which by their own numbers only make a profit of 100k to 200k. By my test you make at most 168,480 coins an hour. This method is found under the money making without skills section. Compare the previous 2 methods to the method of getting mort myre fungi from the mort myre swamp. Getting mort myre fungi is rated at 3 stars. Yet by their own reckoning gathering mort myre fungi makes around 290k an hour. When i tested it i got around 250k an hour, although i used a different, less effective spot. Stunningly this method is listed directly above the buying plant pots method. Each method is not 2 inches away from the other methods yet they are clearly in conflict. --Streetkid99 00:51, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

nice essay buy you don't have enough edits to qualify to vote in this (sarry) -- Image:Cosmic Rune.PNG Peckham33 Talk Image:Chaos Rune.PNG 01:21, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
Number of edits has nothing to do with whether you can vote for or against an article Image:Rune crossbow.png‎ Hess36talk Image:Ancient staff.png 22:37, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Oppose - This article is essentially links to several (and by that I mean too many) charts with tons of information on making money. The difficulty I have with this article is that it seems to encompass every possible way to make money. This article (and I'm including the subarticles) is difficult to use at best. It's overwhelming. I take a look at this article and say "I can't make heads or tails of this, I'll figure out my own way." I agree that if there were a particularly good section, it would merit nomination. Tollerach talk 08:01, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
PS - Not "every" player needs to know how to make money. I've done just fine without it ;)

Support - I support this nomination because this guide has helped me make millions on RS and without it I would never have made that much money. If this article can help me so much, I'm sure it can help everyone else too. It has a great effectiveness rating system and is regularly updated with the latest money making methods and changes to the methods that already exists. Dan2384 16:11, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

While Guthix Sleeps

This quest has changed Runescape forever. Not only does it have story changing outcomes, but it is also referred to as the "Grand Master Quest" by Jagex themselves. This quest is the most difficult quest, as well as the most honored quest. This one quest alone takes up a lot of space. The page is well detailed and gives a lot of insight on the quest, as well as the storyline.

Comment - Why would it's useful to free players matter any? Featured articles are supposed to be featured because of their quality, not because everyone and their dog will use them on a regular basis. --Beware the underrated. Pikaandpi Berserker Fury!Hit hard or go home. 14:30, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Good point. I change to support.

Support - A very well written article. Total level: 939 Lvl 3 skils3 Choice! Talk~Holiday Signup~Hiscores 19:00, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Oppose - It is simply a huge page of directions that you have to follow, not a well-written article. There are many grammatical errors and it is a bit messy. Perhaps the storyline is a major part of RuneScape history, but an article like Stone of Jas would be better suited if you were looking for information. Master of Agility.Usurper FujiI like big grapes. 14:50, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Oppose This is a huge and difficult quest that no one's gonna ever do, why bother showing it? I read it once or twice just because I liked to see what goes on, but there's nothing useful to most players. Zezzima 22:49, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Comment Quite a ridiculous reason for opposing. Runescape should not be catered so that everyone can do every quest straight away, thank god this one actually requires work on behalf of the player, as some players enjoy being able to use the skills they have trained. It's one of the 5 quests I've yet to do, and I'll certainly do it within time, and I imagine a lot of other high-skilled players will/have already done it too. As for being nothing useful, not heard of Dragon Claws and Dragon Plate, these were hugely anticipated items, and are sought after by many, many Runescape players Khalron 19:47, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Support-It's very well written, important to runescape, and good considering how few people have done it =]

Oppose Although a long and admirable quest, there is very little to learn from it which can be used for the furthuring of other abilities or skills. Robinabo (talkcontribs) forgot to sign this comment on 00:10, 6 April 2009.

Oppose Although this article was well written, very few people are even close enough to doing this quest to even think about it... as you must have met the requirements for almost every quest in the game. MeStarfinder 00:12, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Comment - Even to that, a featured article is nominated due to it being well written, not because people can do it. Muzzy34 (talkcontribs) forgot to sign this comment on 00:16, 6 April 2009.
I agree. To restate my above comment: ARTICLES ARE TO BE FEATURED FOR THEIR QUALITY, NOT BECAUSE EVERYONE IS GOING TO USE IT, OR ARE REMOTELY CLOSE TO BEING ABLE TO DO/USE/SEE THE QUEST/ITEM/NPC! People seem to need to remember that... With this mindset, next month's FA will be a Bronze Dagger. >_> --Beware the underrated. Heh, I meant that with this "it's gotta be something common to be featured" mindset that alot of people have employed at this AoTM proposal, we'll probably see something insanely common being nominated (and passed) regardless of quality next month. We can hope not, right? --Beware the underrated. Pikaandpi Berserker Fury!Hit hard or go home. 15:06, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Comment - I think this should wait until next month (which is tomorrow) before being nominated; this month is nearly over and there's no chance of it getting enough support to be featured in the short time available. Quests FTW! Gaz Lloyd Calcs!Awesome 19:07, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
