The Ruined dragon armour lump was released along with While Guthix Sleeps quest along with the Ruined dragon armour shard and Ruined dragon armour slice. All three Ruined Dragon Armour pieces are forged into a Dragon platebody with the use of a Blast fusion hammer in the Dragon Forge.
Ruined dragon pieces are organic components of Tormented Demons .

- Shortly after its release, this could be sold for as much as 12M+ gp.
- Oddly enough, this piece of ruined dragon armour resembles the head of the Tormented Demon that it came from if you look at it at a certain angle.
- Another strange fact is that the armour lump resembles a helmet, although it is used to make a platebody.
