The Ruby ring is a jewellery item that players can make by using a gold bar, a ruby and a ring mould on a furnace. It requires a Crafting level of 34, and provides 70 experience when made[1].
Grum's Gold Exchange in Port Sarim buys at a better price than High Alchemy, depending on his current stock. If he has no ruby rings for sale, he will buy the first for 1,417 coins. Ruby rings sell for 1,822 coins at Grum's store (when they are available in player stock) and in Zanaris, they are sold for 2,025gp as of the 2nd September 2009.
The ruby ring can be enchanted into a Ring of forging by members through the use of the Enchant Level 3 Jewellery spell[2].
A ruby ring in the basement of the west Varrock bank cannot be taken with the telekinetic grab spell. It has been like this since RuneScape Classic.
