The Rock-shell plate is a member's only piece of Fremennik armour. It is primarily worn by warriors and has exactly the same stats as a rune platebody except for 10 less defence against Summoning. To wear the platebody, players must have completed the Fremennik trials quest and have at least 40 Defence. To obtain it, players should either bring 3 dagannoth hides, 1 rock-shell shard and 10,000 coins to Skulgrimen in Relleka, or trade with another player. This piece of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill. Many players use this armour instead of rune platebody since it has almost the exact same defence bonus, and does not require the dragon slayer quest. Unlike it's rune counterpart, Ava's accumulator will function while the player is wearing this because it is not made of metal.
