Rings of duelling can be made by enchanting emerald rings using the spell Enchant Level 2 Jewellery. Each one allows 8 teleports. After all of the teleports have been used, the ring crumbles away to dust.

The teleports may be chosen from the following locations:
- Duel Arena
- Castle Wars
- Fist of Guthix (as of 27 January 2009)
- Mobilising Armies (as of 8 July 2009)
On the 7th of October update, the Ring of duelling was updated to allow a person to teleport more effectively when the ring is equipped. Originally, the ring had 3 options when equipped (Remove, Operate and Examine) but now has 6 options (Remove, Examine and 1 for each of the teleport spots). This significantly cuts down on teleport operation time.
[edit] Alchemy
One option to save money is to use High Level Alchemy spell on the ring after 7 charges are used up. For example if the ring is bought at 1,679 coins and 310 coins are spent on a Nature rune, the cost of 7 teleports is 1,224 coins or 174.9 coins per teleport.
Another option to save money is to save all rings with one charge left. At the Grand Exchange, the rings with one charge can be sold back for 1,679 coins.
