Revenant hobgoblins are a type of revenant. They are more dangerous than their combat level suggests, more than a player with the same combat level. It used to have the ability to freeze you from movement and block you from teleporting, as well as dealing significant amounts of damage in combat with melee, ranged, and magic. It can also restore life points rapidly and cure itself from poison, just like all the other revenants. Even though the max is 200, it rarely hits above 170. Their low defence also makes them fairly easy to kill, even with bare feet and hands.

Historically, revenant hobgoblins could also occasionally freeze their target and/or teleblock them, but after the update on 1 February 2011, they can no longer do either of these.

On 23 September 2009, there was a graphical makeover for Hobgoblins, and Revenant Hobgoblins were affected too.
