The main use of Relicym's balm is to cure disease, although depending on how long the player has been infected it may take up to 3 doses for it to be fully cured; the more recent the infection, the more doses required. It is also the preferred weapon against Orange Broodoo Victims during the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame, where it can deal over 25 damage to them.
Besides being available on the Grand Exchange, players may also purchase 3 dose potions from Uglug Nar for 200 gold once they've learned how to make the potion. To open Uglug Nar's store, simply give him a 3 or 4 dose Relicym's Balm potion, for which he will pay 750 or 1000 gold respectively. Note that Nar will buy Balm potions from players for 120 gold as well if he has none in inventory, but the potion must be a 3 dosage one for him to make an offer on it.
With Barbarian Training, adding roe to a 2 dose potion turns it into a Relicym's mix which heals 3 hitpoints in addition to the above effects.
