[FAQ] • [doc]

The Reborn mage is a monster that may be fought in the warped floors of Daemonheim while Dungeoneering. A similar monster, the Lesser reborn mage, can be found in Phoenix Lair. They attack with magic that looks similar to the Iban Blast, as well as stat reducing curses. They are moderately resistant to melee and magic, but are weak to ranged, with thrown weapons being their biggest weakness. They hit fairly strong and accurately. Like necromancers, they have the ability to summon other monsters; in this case, Reborn warriors. They are also capable of removing the cloaking effects of the Shadow silk hood, an ability shared only with forgotten mages, necromancers, seekers and the mercenary leader. Once the mage is defeated, the warriors will linger around and fight unless you run away from them. Be warned though, that much like the ones in the Phoenix Lair, the mage and the warriors it summons will also follow you, even outside of the room they were summoned in! In addition, should they follow you into a guardian door room, they will still need to be slain for the door to open. As a result, they must all be killed as quickly as possible.
