Raw rat meat can be obtained by killing a Giant rat. It can be cooked on a range or on a fire. It requires level 1 Cooking to be turned into Cooked meat, granting 30 Cooking experience if successful. It is one of the four raw meats needed in the Druidic Ritual quest. It is also the tertiary ingredient in infusing Albino Rat pouches.
Raw rat meat can be bought from the raw meat shop in Canifis, and also from Chargurr for 8 coins each. Both shops are located close to a bank.
It is part of the Lumbridge Easy achievement diaries in which you must cook raw rat meat on a fire in Lumbridge swamp.
If looking for a Giant rat to kill, one can go to the mine to the south-east of Varrock, look directly to the north and kill the Giant rat there. Raw rat meat is always a Giant rat drop of Giant rats of level 2, Giant rats of level 6 rarely (if at all) drop raw rat meat.
