The Rapid Restore Prayer doubles the restore rate of all skills except Hitpoints, Prayer and the Summoning skill. Rapid Restore is unique in that it drains your Prayer skill much slower than any other prayer. A player with level 50 Prayer can use Rapid restore for over 25 minutes without any equipment that provides a prayer bonus. This makes it a useful and practical skill to use when recovering from lowered stats, although lowered skills will still take a while to recharge. The downside to this prayer is that it restores boosted stats at a 2x rate as well. Rapid Restore does not restore your run stamina any faster.
Rapid Restore can have a number of uses, such as rapidly counteracting the negative effects of the Weaken or Confuse spells of Elemental wizards or Dark Wizards, of drinking wine, of attempting to take or taking the Wine of Zamorak, among other such uses.
