Ranging potion

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

A detailed view of a Ranging potion.
Ranging potions are made by mixing dwarf weed and wine of Zamorak in a vial of water, giving 162.5 Herblore experience. It requires level 72 Herblore.

Ranging potions temporarily raise your Ranged level by 4 to 13 points. The level this potion raises you by is determined by the formula: Level * 0.1 + 4, Drop the decimal (round down).

It is sometimes difficult to buy ranging potions on the Grand Exchange even at their maximum price, because of demand by players training the Ranged skill. However, demand is not always constant, and sometimes the potions are available at or even below their average price.

The data in this table is based on the Grand Exchange prices of the Vial of water, herb, and secondary ingredient(s). It is accurate assuming all three items are bought off of the Grand Exchange and the resulting potion is sold afterwards.
