Ranger boots are a rare item received from a level 2 Treasure Trail. They increase the ranging attack bonus by 8. Ranger boots are presently the boots with the best Ranged attack bonus in the game. A Ranged level of 40 is required to wear them. Less wealthy players usually replace Ranger boots with Snakeskin boots, which gives +3 range attack, and cost about 620 times less.

Ranger boots are commonly used in conjunction with a Robin Hood hat. The set can easily be over 12 million coins. This item can fluctuate in price on the Grand Exchange by a considerable amount, lately, going up. In 2004, a common price for them was about 400-500k. For a while, it was stable at about 3.9 million coins. In mid 2008, it quickly increased up to about 5.3 million. After it steadily fell, reaching about 4.3 million in October 2008. Now the price is slowly increasing, and is around 12 million coins. Daily price fluctuations of over 100,000 coins are common, lately going up easily 100,000-120,000 coins per day. ^[1]
