A Rainbow fish is a food item that heals 11 hitpoints in one bite. Players can make it by cooking a raw rainbow fish on a range or a fire. Doing so requires level 35 Cooking, and grants 110 Cooking experience.
It also can be looted from a gourmet impling.
Although the rainbow fish has a high HP heal, it is no where near as popular and expensive as other fish with a very similar HP heal, such as the lobster.
