Railing is a quest item given by Captain Lawgof during the Dwarf Cannon quest, and it is used to repair damage done to the fence surrounding the Coal Trucks. There are 6 damaged areas within the fence, and each can be found by examining every section of the fence to see if the second bar is bent outwards. To secure the rail you will need to use a hammer.

There is a chance that when repairing sections of the fence, the player may receive small amounts of damage which will deal 10-20 life points. The player will receive a message saying either "You cut your hand on the rusty old railing.", "You strain your back trying to handle the railings." or "You accidentally crush your hand in the railing." upon being damaged. When under 20 LP this will not occur.
